Also known as the Birthing Cave, this cavern is hidden away in the heart of the weyr. It is where female dragons lay their eggs, and also where the Hatchings take place. There is a small place in the sands where the Vielo go to hatch their eggs.

| Random Caverns
These caverns Truly are Random. They criss-cross underneath the Weyr and have absolutely no pattern to them.

| Cascading Falls
It seems the Random Caverns weren't so random after all. One, and only one, tunnel from the Random Caverns opens up into a magnificent view: 3 waterfalls cascading down a steep cliff to make a pool of spring water below.

The forest that surrounds New Southern Weyr is filled almost completely with burrap trees. There is a small clearing near the outskirts of the forest called Stones' Grove.

This clearing near the outskirts of Burrap Forest. Strange looking stones are arranged in a circle around this clearing, and a central stone, easily 6 feet high, stands in the middle.
